COMMUNITY RULES

When you use Lim-e you become part of a community. As in every community a certain level of trust is assumed. Following the guidelines below is the best way to ensure that Lim-e remains a pleasant and productive place for everyone. Here are some common sense rules that will allow you to avoid problems. Trying to look for loopholes or circumventing these guidelines is just a waste of time. We at Lim-e do not admit anyone who demonstrates destructive behavior and is not in line with our spirit.
If you find a content that violates any of the rules listed below please report it using the appropriate “report” button that you will find next to any content.

We want Lim-e to be used for the purpose of learning and improving your knowledge or those of the people you teach. If you believe that content is offensive and harassing you can report it and the content will be removed. On other occasions, users may simply be annoying or malicious and in this case it is better to ignore them.
Among the offensive and harassing content that you are prohibited from uploading to the site and that we invite you to report immediately include:

  • Video, comments, audio and offensive messages;
  • Disclosure of personal information, including sensitive data such as tax code, passport number or bank account number;
  • Voluntary publication of content for the purpose of humiliating someone;
  • Images, audio or negative or cruel comments about other users;
  • Sexual offenses, which include sexual harassment and bullying in any form;
  • Incitement to harass other users or creators;

We encourage freedom of expression and try to defend your right to express unpopular points of view, but we do not allow hate speech.

With hate speech refers to content whose main purpose is to incite violence or hatred against individuals or groups based on certain attributes, for example:

  • race or ethnic origin;
  • religion;
  • disability;
  • gender;
  • age;
  • sexual orientation;

There is a labile distinction between what is considered incitement to hatred and what is not. For example, in general it is allowed to criticize a state or a nation, but if the main purpose of the content is to incite hatred against a group of people solely on the basis of their ethnicity or if the contents promote violence on the basis of one of the aforementioned main attributes, such as religion, is a violation of our rules.

Keep in mind that not everything that is offensive or bad is considered incitement to hatred. If the content posted by a particular person annoys you, you can consider not following the user.

Activities such as the use of another person’s identity in creating content and questions can be considered harassment. If our team finds that an account has been created to take on the identity of another person, it will remove it.
Lim-e believes there is identity theft when a user creates a profile or content using someone else’s real name or images and other personal information pretending to be someone else on Lim-e. If you feel that someone is cracking for you, send a report immediately or write to info@lim-e.it.

We will remove content that contains serious threats of physical harm to a particular person or specific groups of people.
People who threaten others may receive a warning and their accounts may be closed.

Safeguarding children’s emotional and physical well-being is a priority for Lim-e. A minor is defined as a person under the age of majority, ie anyone under the age of 18.

We rely on members of the Lim-e community to report content deemed inappropriate. If you come across content that you believe violates one of our policies mentioned below, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We strictly forbid sexually explicit content and content that involves the sexual exploitation of children.

Uploading, commenting or engaging in activities that place children in a sexual context may result in the removal of content and account closure.
If a video contains images of sexual abuse to the detriment of minors, our team will send a report to the police.

We take harmful or dangerous content involving minors seriously. If your content shows or pushes a minor to malicious or dangerous activity, we may remove it and apply a warning to your account.

If you believe that a minor is in imminent danger, immediately contact local law enforcement officials to report the situation.
When you create contents, make sure you do not cause emotional damage. Avoid situations that could cause emotional stress.


Respect the privacy of minors.

Make sure you receive consent from the parents or legal guardian of minors before including them in your content. Also make sure that their participation is voluntary.

If a content is designed to be sexually provocative it will not be allowed on Lim-e.

What is allowed and what is not:

Sexually explicit content, such as pornography, is not allowed.
Sexual content can be admitted if its main purpose is educational, documentary, scientific or artistic, and does not contain strong free messages. For example, a documentary or lecture on breast cancer is acceptable, but it is not to publish content outside the educational context. Remember that by specifying the context in the title and description you will help us and the public to identify the main purpose of your content.

In cases where the content does not exceed the limits, but still have sexual content, we may apply an age limit so that only viewers over a certain age can view the content.

The representation of sexual acts could be subject to age limits, when the context is adequately didactic, documentary, scientific or artistic.

Lim-e is meant to be a learning platform, it can be that you are loaded with contents that affect the life of every day. However, it is not permitted to publish violent or cruel contents designed to be shocking, sensationalist or unmotivated.
If you are content with a violent or explicit nature, be sure to describe the documentary or educational context.

We do not allow terrorist organizations to use Lim-e for any purpose, including recruitment. Furthermore, Lim-e strictly prohibits the publication of terrorism-related content, such as those that promote terrorist acts, incite violence or exalt terrorist attacks.
If you publish content related to terrorism for educational, documentary, scientific or artistic purposes, remember to provide sufficient information to allow viewers to understand the context.

We do not admit that on Lim-e there is spam, fraud and other deceptive practices on the part of those who try to take advantage of the community.

It is not allowed to publish large amounts of untargeted, repetitive and unwanted content. If the main purpose of your content is to push users to abandon Lim-e to visit another site, then most likely these contents violate our spam policy.

It is not allowed to publish large amounts of repetitive and / or uploaded videos more than once. If the main purpose of your profile is to monetize the contents of other profiles, it probably violates our spam policy.

Content deliberately created to trick users into profit may be removed from the site and the user uploading these videos may receive warnings.

In general, users are required to be active members of the Lim-e community. If we find that an account has been inactive for too long, this may be claimed by Lim-e without notice. The following behaviors can be classified as “inactivity”:

  • No access to the site for at least eight months;
  • No content loading;
  • No sharing activity or adding comments and questions.

If you post content that encourages other users to violate our Terms of Service, we may remove such content, penalize your account, and in some cases we may even close it.
